On arrival at a Thai bus station recently, I remember back to scenes from Race across the World. Where the travellers need connecting public transport, they arrive at a bus station and are faced with this - lots of information and totally unfathomable. Luckily there is always a helpful person behind the window to either tell you the good news that you can leave soon, or the bad news that you have to come back tomorrow.
This week we've done a couple of long day bus journeys (average 6-7 hours). They weren't particularly comfortable or arduous. But it does take it out of you. I don't think I could manage back to back 12 hour journey buses like the racers. Maybe I'm just getting old. 😆
