6 November Today we embarked on our island adventure by taking the 1 hour catamaran from Trat to Koh Kood. Koh Kood is part of a national park with around 2500 residents. Building is tightly controlled here, so whilst there are a few tourists, there are no high rise hotels. It is unspoilt, unlike some of the other popular islands. The interior is jungle and hilly with many waterfalls. And many coves with beautiful beaches. I think we're going to like it here. Accommodation ranges from basic to high end extortionate. We opted for good value accommodation at Kohkood Farmstay costing £225 for 6 nights.
