50 something on her travels

I sign off my travel blog with a brief post. Today we are heading home. George snored all night so I had no sleep - just ready for a long flight 😬 Cases are packed and both around 12kg each so well under the limit! 👜 It's been an amazing 4 month trip in Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Laos and Cambodia by sea, water, coach and train. 🚂✈️🚌🚢 It's very difficult to say what was my favourite part of the trip but Luang Prabang, Koh Lanta and Langkawi were highlights.  I'm not looking forward to the UK weather and I also need to find a job. But I'm looking forward to seeing friends and family.  Until the next time 👋 Tracy x

Time is ticking by fast.  103 days ago we boarded the Singapore Airlines plane in the peeing rain at Heathrow Airport. Fast forward and we only have 2.5 weeks left to go ☹️. I cherish the amazing time we've had so far and there is still more to do!  On Tuesday we leave Thailand and head to Langkawi Island in Malaysia for 11 nights ahead of our final stop in Singapore.  I'm starting to think of home and what's next. I'm now actively looking for jobs and booking appointments. You know the important ones - hair, eyebrows, dentist, opticians and physio 😂. In the meantime I will forget about cold wet England and enjoy my view a little more 🏖️.  #careerbreak #thailand #Asia #aonang

Finally, after 3 years of waiting I'm excited to be travelling long haul again ✈️. I decided to take a career break for a few months to return to Asia 🌏.
